How can parents be good advocates for their children at school during these uncertain times?
During this webinar, presenter Micah Grant, Natomas Unified School District Trustee, discusses how a school district makes decisions, such as decisions about the 2020 – 2021 school year, and how you can stay informed and also make your voice heard by the school board, administrators and teachers where you live.
You will also hear from Marina Ibarra, Social Worker at Valley Children’s Hospital, who provides her insight into how parents can navigate the school system to keep their kids with bleeding disorders safe and healthy while at school. Ms. Ibarra also gives some strategies to help your child have a successful year. We have questions and answers at the end of the webinar.
