HCC Webinar- Women and Bleeding Disorders: How to Be Your Own Best Advocate
Thursday, March 19 at 12:00 pm
What makes the experience of women with bleeding disorders different from other patients? During this 30-minute webinar, presenter Amber Federizo, Medical Director at the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center of Nevada, will review the societal biases that have brought us to where we are today. You will learn why people do and do not hear women, and how our history can shape our future both positively and negatively. Most of all, we will affirm the struggles of women with bleeding disorders for generations and will discuss how to prevent these complications for generations to come.
We will save some time for question and answer at the end of the webinar.
